Went with my grand-daughter. We chose our wares and were instructed on what to do. Our artistic flare was utilised not that I have any and painted. when finished we paid and were told to come back in a week for the glazing to be done. I had a ball with grand- daughter and would definitely go back. Great little gift shop also. Very friendly and helpful.
Another fabulous time at Gone Potty. Bridget is great!
Great wee store for gifts. Always bound to find something fir everyone.
What a fabulous shop with a great range of giftware and a good range of prices. There was lots of NZ made gifts which we all need to be supporting!! The owner was very helpful with finding the right gift for my mother and very entertaining at the same time. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Dunedin!
I loved this place! Had heard about this shop from a friend and decided to pop in. Wow - it was so much more than I had expected! I went in to browse and walked out with so many unique gifts and a couple of goodies for myself. ‘Bridget’ was exceptionally helpful and such a delight to chat with. I was impressed that a lot of the creative items sold there, were Kiwi made. I’m happy to know Gone Potty supports local merchants. I can’t rate this place high enough!
I worked for this lovely lady for a few months and she would be one of the best bosses I have had. A very kind and caring lady and of course a lot of fun and very interesting items in her shop. She was always very pleasant and welcoming to her customers and wouldn't hurt a fly. I have heard nothing but good and positive things about this lovely lady. I also really recommend we all visit Gone Potty!
I always make the effort to shop at Gone Potty when I am in Dunedin. Love the variety of great gifts at reasonable prices, ceramics and the awesome art. The owner, Bridget, is a great sort and full of positivity. Love her energy!!! If you don’t already, follow Gone Potty on Instagram - the videos Bridget puts up are hilarious and I’ve bought lots of gifts this way from enjoying her posts.
An amazing and varied selection of gift ideas along with Bridget's colourful and quirky art. I commissioned Bridget to paint a bowl and mug for me as a gift. It is fabulous. I highly recommend visiting.
Absolutely fun, fantastic and a fabulous lady running the shop, summer season #xmas, is very busy so recommended calling and reserving a space to do your creations!
GONE POTTY has the most amazing range of art and homeware, often quite bespoke 'local' themed pieces that are the ultimate gifts for those who want a momento of their time in the Otago Region. If you are wanting to support 'local' you can't beat Gone Potty where you will most likely get to meet the owner of the store Bridget Paape, who is a prolific artist who's subjects range from folk's favourite cafe to iconic scenes from the Otago Rail Trail. EVERYONE will find something at this hidden gem!
