I recently stayed for the weekend being my first time in Waihi too, and throughly recommend the Goldmine Motel. Warm and welcoming staff, Pam! who was on hand both friendly, and helpful.nVicky was away, but to say the Goldmine was in great hands. Thank you for everything
Very clean, quiet and comfortable, spacious rooms. Manager Vicki was friendly and helpful. Motel is close to town centre and the excellent Ti Tree Café.nWe were a group of 8 Oldie cyclists on a 5-day ride on Waikato roads and trails and this motel fulfilled our needs, including safe overnight bike storage in a shed.
My husband and I recently stayed here while visiting Waihi. Not far from downtown, we enjoyed the 10 minute walk into town.nThe room was perfect, very clean and comfortable with wonderful natural lighting.nnThe smart TV was a bonus, as we got to cozy up during some rainy times and continue binging our favorite shows.nnVery accommodating and helpful staff as well!!! With some bonus friends that call the hotel homeresident cats and dog are very friendly
Rooms were clean and fitted our family of 4, Vicki was very helpful with recommendations and advice and our bikes were easily accommodated. Thank you!
Our room was large, poor air circulation as windows just open however clean.nSadly no breakfast option. Close to the Rail trail.nVery friendly feline visitor.
