Our beautiful Estate is home to rolling vineyards, Cellar Door, Deli and a number of other exclusive event spaces. Join us for a wine tasting, picnic basket in the sun or spend the day soaking in the stunning views overlooking Putiki Bay.

Story

Whether you swing by for a wine tasting or stop to indulge in a delicious platter/picnic basket from our Deli, you will always be well taken care of at Goldie Estate.

Our vineyard Deli is open 12 to 4pm and is the perfect venue if you are in the mood for fast, fresh and delicious local food. Our Cellar Door is open 7 days a week from 12 to 4pm and is the perfect place to enjoy our award winning range of wines. Knowledgeable staff will make sure your tasting experience is one you savour and delight in.

Our Estate is also an exclusive location for weddings, conferences and other special events. Contact us for further information.

I came to Goldie Estate for wine tasting on a Thurs. Met Leslie who took me through for my wine tasting. It cost $25 for 6 wines but you get to offset against your wine purchase if you buy >$60. Their Syrah, and Merlot + Cab Sauv blend is my favourite. And surprise surprise! They have a special Sparkling Rose see last picture. Leslie told me that her husband is the winemaker and they walk their vines on a daily basis and they know their grapes well. Cheers to Goldie Estate for its personalised service!
Fabulous tasting and enchanting setting overlooking the beautiful vines and crystal blue water. Jill guided us through the wonderful wines and story of the vineyard like the consummate professional she is making this a truly outstanding visit. Do yourself a favor and be sure to stop here. The viogner was the standout for us but all wines were delicious. Be sure to trek up the hill to take in the full extend of the scenery before you leave. Thank you Jill!!!

Hi All we were on a cruise around New Zealand and after seeing Goldies featured on a Food and Wine show on FOX had to visit & will gladly tell all it was a great experience. The staff member Julie lovely Scottish woman who knew her Stuff when talking about the wines on offer and the explanations were bang on the products are excellent walked away with 4 bottles and 1 had to be the Merlo Franc.
Fantastic experience at Goldie’s. The wine was beautiful and the service was outstanding. Enjoyed speaking with the winemaker about the wines and story behind the vineyard. Would highly recommend for an authentic wine tasting.
Goldie were excellent hosts for our corporate event; a peaceful and stunning location, great communication from the team in the planning stage and on the day, delicious food and wine to top it off! Thanks so much Goldie I couldn't recommend you more highly.
We got married at Goldie Estate and it completely exceeded our expectations! We didn't have to think about anything on the day–they took care of absolutely everything. Our guests raved about the incredible venue saying it had to be one of the best wedding venues in the world and we completely agree. Goldie even went above and beyond when we asked if a vegan menu was possible and ended up delivering the most incredible plant-based food which all of our guests, vegan or not, loved. Goldie will always hold a special place in our hearts!
I’ve always liked Goldie as an unassuming vineyard that does nice wine and platters with a lovely outdoor area. It was a beautiful day and we hadn’t been there in a while, so it was time for a visit. The wine tasting was great. The wines were lovely and we were served by a rather enthusiastic master of wine science student Goldie is owned by University of Auckland. He even brought us a little of a 2014 Reserve Cabernet Merlot Franc, which had only just been opened this morning. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed for cleaning. They did have a cheese platter available, which we gladly opted for. It was pre-packaged Whitestone cheese and a box of crackers, which was ok but not up to their usual platters. Such a beautiful spot with lovely big trees, sitting amongst the vines. We’ll need to come back after the kitchen cleaning is complete.
Awesome experience. We paid the $10 for wine tasting experience and it was worth every cent. The view and tranquility of the place was just so calming.
Best wine with fuity scent! I bought two bottles straight away. At such a good price, too. The staff was super friendly! She explained the trade secrets towards the winery, thoroughly, just like that! We were also welcomed with nice finger foods upon arrival. Superb!
