We got takeout. Really hate to write this review. I was looking forward to a Red Curry and Panaeng Curry to share... both were super milky lacking flavour, tasted/looked exactly the same. The other dishes were "okay" nothing to write home about. Such a shame!
One of the best Thai restaurants we’ve been too. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Even our fussy 5 year old managed to eat all his dinner. Will definitely be visiting again & highly recommend. Compliments to the chef ‍ & staff for excelling in their services
Order 27/12/2022 at around 6PM By looking at the atmosphere I though food has the same quality and love. Sorry to say that, absolute rubbish food. I ordered chicken fried rice. It is just throw some cheap frozen veggie in a pan with smoked chicken, bit of sugar and just heat it up. As I have been to Thailand and been in Singapore for an extensive period of time I have no word to say how bad that food is. Didn’t expect exceptional for that price$18 I even have tried fried rice in many places in NZ, this is the worst. Hope anybody who ignored this comment and tried will add new review to confirm or reject my commentif they add some passion to cooking or will have change d the cook. It might help someone will not to have disappointing meal.
Golden Silk Thai is a special place where very good food can be found. I am not unfamiliar with Golden Silk as the family have been getting take aways there for years. They provide a very authentic menu and is well worth spending time in the restaurant too as some of the best dishes are only served in the restaurant. Highly recommended
Laurie Pothan, I have use Golden Silk for a while now,but I thought on my last Red Curry I ordered it was very much all fluid not many vegetables as well Could you please advise on this Regards
Great service, all the waitresses were very attentive and helpful. Food was fairly priced and we had leftovers to takeaway. Everything was tasty! Would definitely recommend
Some of the best Thai food I have ever had!!! Simply amazing. Super kind and friendly staff and both the presentation and quality of the food were superb. Everything is clearly made with a lot of love. Great lunch special as well. Highly recommended.
