We stopped by after having a dip in the hot pools. They were fortunately open fairly late, around 2030. We grabbed a couple of pizzas to share and a shake to drink. The pizzas were under $20. They did have some tables set up outside as well as a larger one inside, which we ended up using. There were also chairs around if you were waiting for your order. I got a lime thick shake and it was ok. It was very airy and the lime flavour wasn't very strong but it was quite sweet. The BBQ pork and bacon pizza was amazing. The crust was perfect and the fillings were quite tasty. We also got the butter chicken pizza but the crust on that was a bit soggy and the flavour was blander. My friend got the peri peri chicken pizza and the topping fell off. I thought it was a nice place considering it was quite late. The pizza could be hit or miss but I thought it was nice. Others were saying that their burgers were nice but I didn't try it so possibly for next time.
Maddy and Wendy were very friendly owners... soon to me married! Congratulations! You will never have a better Indian Paneer Pizza in New Zealand.. but must ask Wendy to whip one up for you-it’s not on the official menu. Absolutely delicious! Thank you!Food: 5/5
After a long day doing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, we were keen for some tasty food, and we were not disappointed! We ordered a Peri Peri Pizza medium heat, thanks for asking and a GC Hawaiian Burger, and they were fabulous! Totally recommend Golden Crust. Lovely service and great food, what else do you need! Pizza base had generous toppings and good thickness to the base, burger was generous too and the fries were hot! Thank you.

American style pizza - friendly service and crispy crust.
Ordered online for a specific time & they excelled by being 5 mins early. The food & service was top notch, it’s going to be my go to place every time we visit Turangi Parking: Park right outside
Nice pizza. Good range on the menu cooked fresh for a good price. Each pizza co.es with lashings of sauce. Sides are good too especially the lamb bites and sauce. This family run cafe has side line in real fruit smoothies worth trying. Next to backpackers so can be busy at meal times. Staff are friendly and helpful
