The service was friendly and professional. Grace explained the pros and cons of both treatment options and then fully explained what she was doing throughout the procedure which she went out of her way to ensure was as painless as possible. I've never been a fan of visiting the dentist but would totally recommend Grace and the team at Golden Bay Dental.
Grace is fantastic. Highly professional, compassionate and reasonably priced. We’re so lucky to have her in Golden Bay and not have to travel 2 hours or more for high quality dental care.
Grace and her assistant were lovely. I'm terrified of going to the dentist and desperately needed a filling. From the phone call to reception Nicki I think to Grace and her assistant, they were friendly, calming and professional. Great team and great service. Sorry for being a nervous client. And thank you for sorting out my tooth. Oh the relief! Best regards.
I was assaulted and left with a damaged inner cheek , cheek bruising, damaged upper gums and I nearly went to the hospital. I would advise a trip over the hill to any number of talented caring professional dentists. I will be writing in an official complaint in regards to the shoddy filling job which needs to be repaired and the damage done to me
Rude - Rang to enquire into the cost of a check up and they could not tell me what it costs without a full clean as well because 'thats what everybody gets'. I got passed onto the dentist who gave me an approximation only and was also rude saying its different every time and then promptly hung up on me. Wont be going here! I would rather travel to Nelson. In response yo your reply: Hello If I was treated nicely and respectfully on the phone then why do I feel compelled enough to take time out of my day to write a complaint to you? I was nothing but nice and polite with an extremely friendly tone and simply wanted a cost for your basic check up service, and I explained WHY I needed to know the exact cost in an extremely polite way before basically being told no this is not possible with sighing and grumpiness. I did not ask to be passed onto you or to be hung up on by you. In fact this was probably the rudest part - to be hung up on!!! I was obviously a pain in your side, that was clear. Do you regularly hang up on potential clients? I was extremely polite and at no point rude to you and was left feeling like I had done something wrong by simply enquiring Into the cost of your services. Why did the receptionist not have the information to answer me if she’s has worked there so long? For example, a basic check up is.... x rays are an extra.... is that so hard??? Like a lot of people I don’t have a lot of money being on a medical benefit and knowing what it’s going to cost is important so I can have it approved and funded by WINZ / budgeted for and being told ‘everyone has a clean and check’ which was the more premium price and not covered by WINZ that was the only service and cost she was able to quote exactly was not the service I was enquiring about or the information I requested. “ I was disappointed with the manner she was spoken to and treated especially when she tried to help you within her capacity as a receptionist” - if you were able to hear me then you would know this is not true. You only heard the receptionist talk to me which was in fact very rude and presumably you think that’s in response to me being rude rather than her having a bad day or being grumpy. I was extremely polite to her and at no point rude or deserving of the appalling way I was spoken too and treated. Like I said, I’m not the only one who thinks your business / staff / attitude is rude. So good luck with running a business in a small town where word travels well. I am also very glad I found a wonderful helpful dentist over the hill. Also please note I would not leave a review in a public forum unless it was warranted.
