Gogo music is one of the best late night spots to enjoy great food and good company. The meat skewers are absolutely fabulous, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Their cold side dishes are refreshing and surprisingly addictive, and the chicken with flat rice noodles is definitely a must-try dish. The atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends at night, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Just a warning ‼ once the food arrives, you won’t be able to stop at just a few bites. Come hungry and ready to enjoy an amazing meal!

Whether you’re coming from a long shift or just wrapping up a night out, it’s the kind of spot that feels welcoming anytime.nnThe highlight? Their grilled options — juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Portions are generous, and the flavors don’t disappoint. It’s not just about the food either — the overall experience makes you want to come back.
Food taste nicer compared to couple months ago. They even have live music on the stage every Sunday night. Most servers are not fluent in English but they try to understand what we want. Their cucumber salad goes well with all different types of dishes, highly recommend!
We recently visited Go-Go Music Cafe in NZ and had a really great experience. The food was very nice and full of flavour. The skewers were also delicious and went really well with the dipping sauces.
Food is really spicy but you can definitely ask them for less or no spice on the skewers. Noting that, they still gave us skewers with spice and it was hot. We complained and they quickly replaced it with no spice at all. It could have been avoided as we obviously noted it down.nnPrice wise it’s definitely affordable. I suggest grabbing the bucket of rice to share rather than having individual ones - saves you a lot.nnWe ordered the army stew and it was loaded! It was $48 but you could feed a group of people easily with that. We also ordered the condensed milk buns and that was so nice - it helps balancing all the strong and hot flavours if you need a break from it. Lol.nnIt gets busy so we tried calling to reserve a table, but only being 3 of us we weren’t able to book - you have to be a big group so they can save you a table, otherwise you’ll just have to walk in.nnThis is my third time here and I come all the way from south auckland just to eat here. The service is a hit or a miss, I guess it just depends on the day. So don’t have high expectations. Not really a great first date idea too.
