Gloriavale Christian Community School

Teacher recently convicted for openly molesting children during class for 40 years, up to 2023. This community covered it up with a culture of silence, and acceptance of such behaviour from within leadership. They do not love or appreciate the innocence of children, nor the agency of women in general.

I really loved getting touched here! Recommend getting touched by the river, It just has a certain feel.

This place needs to be shut down with the members able to live in society a life filled with love and aspiration to achieve their dreams.

I think these people should open their minds and hearts to atheism, they'd be much happier and their lives would have more meaning. On the plus side, they do keep themselves to themselves - not as annoying as Hillsong.

I cannot believe that some people still don't know that this place is a giant cult. If you watch Lilia Tarawa's Ted Talk about it, you could see how horrible the community really is. Lilia is the granddaughter of the man who founded the church, and she shares her experiences of how over her childhood years, she realized how horrible the church truly was, and how she and the rest of her family eventually escaped.

Looks like a great, wholesome place. I really enjoyed watching them work, sing and eat - and of course, worship - together instead of having their faces glued to screens It's got all the bugman Stuff-readers and redditors seething so they must be doing something right if the enemies of God react in such a way!

I haven't been here, but have watched the Amazon video once by myself and again with my wife and we both found it interesting. Living a life in service to each other for Gods glory is totally unheard of but is absolutely admirable! I may never get there to visit but I definitely respect what you are doing.. Especially considering that in the world today it is very self centered while Gloriavale seems to be the definition of selflessness.

Little too much kiddy fiddling. Would not recommend.
