You get what you pay for. Set up is easy. But when it's done, the picture quality is cartoon-like. Over-saturated and pink compared to all other sources. There are NO plus 1 channels, so if you missed something and want to see it, tough luck. To set up the premium channels it is incredibly invasive and even after submitting all your log-in details to the the 'net open to hacking, they still don't work. At this point I stopped. Features were far less than expected. It is a back-up for when the aerial stops in the rain, but barely. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!
Although I hadn't been particularly unhappy with my current power provider, when I purchased an EV I wanted to make sure I was not paying more for my power than necessary. Also, my very large, well known current provider did not offer any 'Off Peak' plans to enable me to help myself to save money. Glimp saw my attempts to make comparisons myself and reached out. At first I was not happy with this, but Trina answered my questions thoughtfully and I expect to be switched today or tomorrow. I won't know for a while whether the switch was the best one, or even a good one, until I start to work with the new provider. But Glimp made the switch much easier than I expected. Thanks Trina B.

Extremely easy and fast to show suitable and economical choices, and also special promotions , I used it to find the best value and most suitable broadband for my situation. I am very happy with the results and to also see and understand the comparisons between the different businesses and their offerings. Will definitely use Glimp again
Good website to compare different providers and friendly team to find best deal for your need
Very strange experience with Glimp. After browsing the latest Fibre plans on the glimp.co.nz website I was promptly contacted by an operator from Glimp who was very pushy in prompting me to provide my credit card details and stuff fibre existing ISP login password information. After handing over my credit card details and feeling like something was suspicious I cancelled the phone call after they requested my password. Promptly contacted my bank and cancelled my credit card too. I don't know what kind of service they are running but I haven't had to hand over any personal banking information and/or password on the phone when dealing with any other retailer EVER. BE VERY AWARE OF THESE PEOPLE AND HOW THEY OPERATE
Larry G was very helpful when we were setting our internet provider. He was very informative and patient with the process. Glimp is an awesome website when comparing and switching power/internet providers.
*edit - turns out the providers are all upgrading and the glimp site is more up to date* Both the highlighted deals i clicked through to get turned out to be inaccurate speeds. Glimp saying 300/100 both providers only offering 100/20 for the price given, despite giving the same address in both sites. still giving 3 stars though as regardless the deals through Glimp are better than the standard advertised deals on the providers site.
I’ve just had a great experience with Kurt from glimp compare. He helped me through the process from the time I clicked onto the website, via the chat function. Long story short I have signed up to a new power and broadband provider with significant cost savings. There was no pressure at any stage, just respectful guidance and facilitation to initiate the new supply.
