About

Glenlands Farm is a 242ha family farm since 1970 which is located in the Esk Valley, Hawkes Bay. We currently farm sheep, dairy grazers and goats.

Story

8 years ago we changed to a more holistic grazing management to improve pasture persistence and diversity. We sow diverse crop mixes that provide forage for not only livestock but pollinators, birds and keep the soil covered. Our vision for setting up this facebook page is to pass on our knowledge to other interested parties. From time to time we will hold Field Days and open up our farm so that any interested party can see what it is that we do and why. Please feel free to ask us any questions that you may have.

Highly recommended!! We had the privilege of being Dean and Antoinette’s first Glamping guests and we had a great experience. The tent was spacious and clean with a modern BBQ, wood fire, solar lighting and a USB point to charge our phones. The bathroom was clean, had a hot shower and even a flushing toilet. The best part about our stay was the extras like the farm tour their land is beautiful, we went through streams over hills, got to learn about Deans Bio-Farming, the native wildlife and farm animals, ebikes hire we took the bikes into Napier-Hastings and explored the wineries without even breaking a sweat- highly recommend! and the fire heated hot tub with beautiful farm views was a nice way to finish our stay. Thanks Dean and Antoinette for the exceptional hospitality we look forward to coming back again soon.
