Started our walk/hike from the Glen off to Cable bay and back the same day. We had a very foggy trip as it was raining the day before and had a hard time looking for the white pole track guides on the side. But it was all worth it as we got to experience the sea of clouds atop the hills and fantastic views when the wind blows. A bit steep but a great trip overall and best enjoyed if you have a vehicle waiting on either ends.
Nice walk, walked Cable Bay to Glenduan. Straight up slog first half hour but a gorgeous view and so worth it. Through native bush and forestry to slowly wind down hill to Glenduan.
Starting from glenduan is a much easier way to climb. Park your car near the sea. The walk way will take 3 hours one way, so make sure you have enough time to return. The sunset from glen is fantastic! Just come and enjoy your trip.
Phenomenal views...steep ascent but worth every step...beautiful area of native forest...then out onto coastal hills...highly recommend this walk!
