The Glenbrook Vintage Railway! Your Adventure - Our Passion!

The GVR operates over 7.5 kms of track from Glenbrook to Victoria Avenue in Waiuku. Visit our website to view our operating dates. Trains depart From Glenbrook every 75 minutes starting at 11:00 with the last train at 16:00. Passengers are welcome to alight at Victoria Avenue and explore the township of Waiuku and catch a later train back to Glenbrook.

Good time with family and a train ride was super fun though the time on the train was too short plus I think they should have another stop where people can get off and have some other activities or food and then return. Anyways it was a good time spent.
Great annual event for the kids run by a charity vendor and volunteers. Decent parking on site. Dress for the night and weather. If you go during the day make time to pop up the road 5 mins to also check out the miniature railway club.
An awesome experience live history and engineering in the age of steam power. historical steam trains that are fully operational the Christmas night rides are amazing

What a great idea having Christmas lights on the trains in the evening, adds to the fun of the train ride. Such good work by all these rail enthusiasts
Just the best, had an enjoyable time lovely place for picnic lunch
We had the high tea option. Food could have been better. We were the last trip of day maybe it is better earlier. Was a nice way to spend the afternoon with friends.
