A beautiful park like campground, lovely grounds and gardens. Large powered sites, Modern warm cabins, refurbished communal facilities with a TV lounge room and an awesome outdoor social area. Only 400 meters to the awesome Waitaki River

The room was clean, the facilities were okay, but the owner?old lady was too scary. There were too many signs in the room and kitchen saying, "Don't do this, don't do that,' and if anyone breaks the rules written on it, she will come to you late at night and just knock on the door and yell at you loudly. I chose this place because all the comments said it was nice, but the owner? was a horrible lady.And when you take a shower, you have to take it for less than 5 minutes, because they claimed lake of water here and the hot water only lasts for 5 minutes.I gave up taking a shower.

Maybe not the good day… No one at the reception at 6pm it’s ok A woman answers the phone, quite rough and straightforward ok… She is quite directive, we have to wait for her 5min… then more than 20min later we decide to leave. > no one onsite really safe ? > rude woman over the phone, we don’t want to argue or whatever especially in all other campsites we stayed, it was fine fortunately
Quiet, clean camp. Nice kitchen with all appliances. Big plus - cute animals that enjoy being cuddled. Great hosts as well - we called in the middle of the day and they managed to find us a spot.
I enjoyed the stopover at this spacious motor camp. All the facilities you would expect. I found the gentleman informative and pleasant. The small cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable.Rooms: 3/5

Had wonderful stay a the camp. We stayed as part of a family fishing group. Facilities are always immaculate, as we knew from the previous year. Michelle and Andrew were wonderful hosts and their work ethic a credit. Our group had two caravans, 3 of the cabins and I had the new unit with toilet and shower. So we had all options covered and we had great stay and successful fishing trip.
