Gipsy Caravans Levin manufactures caravans, campervans, & motorhomes to your specifications. All hand built by factory trained New Zealand craftsman for New Zealand conditions. We buy & sell good used vehicles, and can also sell your vehicle on behalf. Our factory does repairs, modifications, installations, restorations, and fitouts to all makes & models. We are experts in repairs to UK & European vehicles. We have a fully stocked parts & accessories shop, and offer 24 hour shopping on our website.

Once again, i had the best service from Gypsy Caravans. I called in yesterday to look for required items to complete my self containment so it would meet standards. Received a warm welcome on arrival and a request to let them know if they could help. Whilst looking around the shop was greeted by another staff member and again told to approach them if I needed help. Not finding exactly what I was looking for, I approached them and received excellent service. I had to wait for some things to be put together, so I decided to get them couriered. I received them the next morning. Many ngā mihi to the two staff members in the office for your excellent service. Definitely is why I keep coming back.
Been 2 this place twice, 1st time 6 months ago the old lady was sitting directly in front of me at the counter. She just kept on doing what she was doing and ignored me. Luckily the young lady came and served me and she was very nice. Then a week ago I went to ask about an item they sell and the old man served me I asked him for the item. He said no it has to be ordered ! I asked if they had any other options he said no ! Didn’t offer an other solutions or advice just no ! As I left I said have a nice day no response from the old man…. I’ll never go back to Gipsy Caravans their service is s**t !!!!
Got to the place to discuss how we could upgrade our van to be more self contained and what we could buy from Gipsy Caravans to improve it. Lady inside was super unhelpful, didn't seem that proactive with what they could offer us instead telling us to go elsewhere, and overall we left feeling like she didn't actually want us as customers. Don't often put negative reviews, but we drove all the way from Wellington and spent $30 on petrol just to be given pretty terrible customer service. There were a couple of things we looked at purchasing, but with the pricing and service, we left empty-handed.
Went to the main counter and a lady told us to wait as she was screening a missed call.Then led us off to another part of the business with no visible office or greeting.Was like navigating a maze.Maybe a better layout of the facilities would help customers to avoid confusion.
Ordered my part on Tuesday and it arrived on Wednesday afternoon. I am very impressed.
