Best Italian food in Rotorua hands down. Love the three cheese Ravioli. After eating it i was watching Italian food shows for weeks . Nice pizza as well and owners/staff are very friend. Great selection of food, drinks and atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Must try if your visiting Rotorua. Venture away from eat street in rotorua towards redwood side of the lake for a relaxed dinner environment.
Went here for dinner with friends and it was a delight. Amazing Pasta and Pizza. The team are very kind, with exceptional service. Great environment to eat in Vegetarian options: It's hard to find good tasting vegetarian Italian cuisine and this restaurant has many options and all great tasting dishes.
Excellent vibe, felt as though we were in Italy. We had the most delicious pasta! It was busy when we went for dinner but was worth the wait!
Had my first meal at Giovanni’s tonight and must say it is honestly the best dine-in you can get in Rotorua! Friendly staff, delicious meals and great atmosphere!
Haven't dined in yet, but my husband and I have ordered a variety of items for delivery on multiple occasions. This is the ONLY restaurant in Rotorua my husband will order from he especially loves their pizza and it's the only food I've eaten where I keep wanting to go back for more! Absolutely delicious, quality food and we can't wait to go there and dine in!
Tasty pizza, possibly a bit expensive for the quality but it was still nice. We had a lovely happy waitress. Unfortunately no one checked on our table once our food had been served and I hadnt been given my pizza 10minutes after everyone else had their mains. My husband had to ask, and they had forgotten it. It took them a while to make my pizza after that aswell so i started eating after everyone else had finished. I would have appreciated a free drink or something similar but nothing was offered.
Oh my God, so nice Italian restaurant. The staff is friendly, The pizza was amazing. Top 3 pizza I have ever eaten in NZ. Will come back for sure, to try more dishes. Well done guys. Thank you very much.
Very pleasant staff the shared platter was top notch albeit extremely expensive, ravioli was nice and the sauce was great, my tagliatelle, the pasta hadn’t been stirred when cooking and was stuck together and way too much chilli , the sauce looked and sounded delicious but couldn’t taste it for chilli . A note to the chef : Do not ask staff to clear entree to serve the main we hadn’t finished it and did not need our main immediately, when staff clear entree you start cooking the main it’s not hard. Lost a couple of stars for that. Overall a pleasant experience however.
While the food was generally good, and the service tried really hard, there were some very obvious shortcuts taken, two of us ordered a red wine bottle to share, but there was only one red wine glass left, steak knives and pepper grinders weren't automatically brought out when food was served, we had to request them, the food was good quality, some of the oven roast potatoes you could tell we're reheated, the rest of the food was well prepared and presented. I would eat here again
We must of got a bad night but the service was so slow and there was very few people there. Though that wouldn't normally worry me if the foods good. Unfortunately of the 5 dishes we choose only one was good, the other 4 were very bland. Sorry but won't recommend to anyone
