What a great park for relaxing, walking dogs, kids playground. The blossoms on the trees were beautiful.
This park is so beautiful and well set up. Lots of seats facing the lake and fountain, and very lively with people enjoying a sunny afternoon. Great place for small remote controlled boat enthusiasts, and hobby sailboats.nYou can walk around the lake on a walking track.nThere's also public BBQ for use and very clean/well-maintained bathrooms.
Very impressed with the memorial to the members of the New Zealand Tunnelling Company which is at the rear of the park.nGreat to see locals using the lake for model yacht sailing .
