Story

At Giggles and Scribbles, teachers follow the children’s individual needs to achieve personal academic excellence and to become life-long learners who respect themselves, others and their environment.

Every child is one-of-a-kind. It is our responsibility as educators to respect the needs and encourage the independent growth of each child by creating a learning environment that does the same. While well-structured and clearly defined, our methodologies are free to adapt to the individual development levels, interests and strengths of each child.

We firmly believe that the best way for a child to thrive is to empower that child by creating an environment filled with exciting possibilities to learn through all five senses.

To encourage the development of the whole child by providing a comprehensive education, cultivating independent thought and foundational skills as well as awareness of their environment; empathy for others; social ease, good manners and confidence.

To establish within a child the intellectual, emotional, and physical rigor needed to become a self-directed learner, flexible thinker, creative problem solver, and support their ever-
increasing curiosity about the world in which they live.

Children at our centre learn at their own pace and according to their own choice of activities from hundreds of possibilities. A child’s work at Giggles and Scribbles is an exciting process of discovery, leading to concentration, motivation, self-discipline and a love of learning.

Giggles and Scribbles will nurture in its children a life-long love of learning and respect for themselves and others in a “peaceful” and safe environment.

Giggles and Scribbles will be a community where the voices of the children and parents are valued equally, and all members of the community are welcome to actively participate.
