Cool to Stop and Check out this Cool Icon of Paeroa.There are heaps of Great places to grab a bite to eat and drink Cool Antique and Curio Shops too.Even another Giant Bottle by the L P Cafe.nTake a Photo of Both Bottles,Worth the Effort
Not much to do here, but I've been getting my photo with the L&P Bottle for 40 years... a bit of a kiwi icon. Toilets handy, nice gardens surrounding, eateries and dairies nearby and just off the Hauraki walkway.
Same same good amenities..nSad to see so much litter around the car park when there's rubbish provided.nGood facilities i.e toilet and love the trees ..
My favorite drink in New Zealand!
Interesting city icon, this Giant Lemon & Paeroa bottle is a must for those in love with this drink. There are two decent public toilets, which were clean at the time of our visit. There are small plates with the history behind this park and a totem with the Rotary community involvement with the area. At the top, you get a lovely view from Waikato river and the lawn seemed to have been mowed couple of days ago.
