Just went on a Get Wet Shop diving trip to Fiji to dive with tiger sharks. What an incredible trip, couldn’t recommend more highly! Had a great crew of 12 people that didn’t know each other at the start, but I’m like family at the end. Booked in to do it again in 2025, it was that epic! Top job organising it to the staff at get wet and an extra big thank you to Mark Grey - owner for making it awesome!
J’ai finalisé ma formation Open Water avec Get Wet. Compréhensifs, attentifs et très réactifs quant à ma demande, j’ai pu faire une remise à niveau en piscine avant de me joindre à un groupe pour finaliser la formation en milieu naturel, à Whitianga. Le matériel est très bien entretenu, Kiel, notre moniteur de plongée est ultra pédagogue en plus d’être très sympathique. Je recommande a 100% cette école pour apprendre à plonger sereinement !
Kiel was the best instructor, he made the course fun and was easy to follow instructions from, would definitely recommend.
My wife and I did both the PADI Open Water as well as the advanced open water with Get Wet, and we had a great experience both times. Our instructor, Kiel, brings his own style to the teaching, relaxed and easygoing. But he is on top of things and will make sure that everything goes well in the end. They took us to Whitianga for the training on both occasions, for some lovely boat dives. The atmosphere on the boat was good, and Kiel was confident and clear with his instructions, we felt safe and at ease. Will book again with then next time!

Absolutely amazing outfit! Gavin is a fantastic instructor, he knows what he's doing and keeps it calm and safe. The crew have their own confined water pool and the provided equipment is kept in excellent condition. They even managed to fit my open water course around my schedule. I couldn't recommend them more.
Fantastic Try Scuba experience with the team from Get Wet. If you have ever thought to give this sport a go, dont hesitate...this team and this place are awesome. So much so, I'm doing the open water course! Can't wait

I am always blown away by the level of expertise, knowledge and professionalism encountered whenever I visit the Get Wet crew- Mark, Gav and Kiel. I have so far completed the Try Dive Experience and Open Water Dive Course through the shop. I couldn't recommend these courses run by the engaging and experienced Get Wet crew enough for new divers to complete to become relaxed and confident in the water. The service doesn't stop after completing the course - the team are only to happy to provide information on dive sites based on levels of experience, even sharing information on where to find some elusive crays. The regular dive trips from Whitianga and Tauranga are an easy way to gain more experience and are both well run with an emphasis on safety. The shop is always clean and stocked with quality products at great prices. Rental equipment is well maintained and available without any issues. If you are new to diving or not sure where to start - go no further than Get Wet Waikato.
Had an epic trip off the Coromandel with GetWet! We had Gav as our dive master and I can't rate him enough. We joined the trip as qualified divers who got our Padi last year and haven't had heaps of experience since then, we were hoping to build our confidence in the water so we can dive without a guide. As well as just being friendly and patient, Gav gave us lots of tips and really instilled confidence so we were able to do our first solo dive ever had a great trip and will definitely be back!!
