Lovely campsite which feels and looks well cared for. Very clean and lots of nice touches. Only a few minutes walk to town. Showers are limited to 6 minutes but hot and free. Friendly host. Access fine for our 9m x 4m high truck. We’ll return.
Lovely, clean and very well maintained park. Check in was easy & reception were very friendly. There were minimal guests so it felt like we had the park to ourselves. Our campervan fit well on the site. The bathrooms were very clean. The shower was piping hot and the wall heaters were a nice touch on a chilly evening!
We found ourselves having to stop in Geraldine and chose to spend the night here in our motorhome. With its tall trees and green lawn, this place has a peaceful park-like setting. As we arrived after night fall, we'd only wanted to cook and shower before getting to bed.nnThere weren't many tourists this time of year, so we had the large and well equipped kitchen to ourselves. Most holiday park kitchens we had been to were not heated. So it was a pleasant surprise to find a wall mounted radiant heater. It wasn't quite warm enough, though it's better than none at all.nnHowever the next surprise wasn't a pleasant one. My wife had discovered that the shower was on a 6mins timer. We can understand the need if occupancy is high since shower rooms are limited. But not when occupancy is low. She did eventually have a rather uncomfortable shower.nnThat aside, we didn't find any other issues affecting our stay. In fact the park and facility kitchen & shower cleanliness was quite good. So if long hot showers aren't a necessity for you, I think you'd enjoy it here.
It’s a nice-ish location with very average customer service. Grumpy at check in and grumpy at departure. There are much better TOP10s than this one…great dump station facilities for RVs though!
Lovely grassy motor camp situated close to town. Office staff were friendly. We stayed in a motel unit. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The laundry had plenty of machines and dryers. We would certainly stay again if back this way.
