My mother downsized into Geraldine Retirement Village about 5 years ago. She loved all aspects of her life at GRV. The majority of the time she was totally independent, self catering, having visitors and able to drive her own car to all her outside social activities. Occasionally, in inclement weather she took advantage of the lunches available on site. As she became a little more dependent, the care from the nurse and all the staff was second to none. If you are looking for a warm, caring environment GRV is a fantastic option between living alone in a large house and going into hospice care.
