What a delightful surprise to find Berry Barn Bakery in the small town of Geraldine! The bakery offers an impressive range of gluten-free options, which was fantastic to see.nIt was also so cool to see the working bee hive inside the bakery — a unique and charming touch that really adds to the experience.
Bad food, good vibes. Don't buy the custard slice unless you're starving and it's the only thing left in town. The bees were really cool. Great service.

Charming little stop in Geraldine, perfect if you're heading between Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd. We dropped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised — cozy atmosphere, tasty breakfast options, and genuinely friendly service. A great place to relax and refuel. Definitely a must-visit!
Highly overpriced for average at best food and selection. Disappointed we didn’t pay enough attention to prices before getting to the counter.nWindow seats were nice though.
