Craig responded to our request for a quote in August 2021 and after it was supplied we were happy to proceed. After a delay and quite a bit of back & forth the Gate was supplied, it is great quality! We are happy with the result. Craig also worked well with the fencing contractors to organise all of the installation and eventually we were happy with the quality and functionality of the gate and the installation. We then paid the final bill, knowing that we only needed Craig to finish off the final electrical connection to the house and supply us with an extra remote we requested. Fast forward to nearly a year later and Craig has missed many promises of coming back to our property to finish that electrical installation and to provide the extra remote we wanted. There was a lot of staff issues and COVID related issues offered as excuses for a while which were acceptable, but after the last few months of calling Craig, he now does not take our calls, does not respond to voicemail and we now have not heard back from him in months. Again; a great quality gate, good installation but we are now left with some bitterness with the follow up. Craig is letting his company down!
Craigs time management and constant promises that aren't met become utterly ridiculous. Takes over a year to get a gate finished. Constant excuses met with no final outcomes.
Exploits workers, constant unfulfilled promises, with nothing but excuses given, and a quick google search shows how many buisnesses this guy has failed with in the past. It's no wonder why. Wouldn't reccomend this business.
Contacted Craig, sent details of gate to be replaced, chased for a quote after no reply, sent photos & dimensions, failed to come out and look, emailed again to try and get him to quote. No reply. Gave them another shot after lockdown to see if Gateworks is interested in quoting / supplying, still no reply. Wouldnt recommend if you are wanting someone to supply a gate that would suit your property or even get a quote.
Yeae we've got the gates before Christmas and extremely happy with the final result. It didn't go smoothly all the way but the final result worth waiting for a few months Thanks Craig and a team. Wishing you all the best in the future and please improve the communication skills.
For several years I've had a problem trying to get a reliable motor supplied that will open and close my sliding gate. Gateworks fixed the problem quickly, efficiently, on time and at a very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.
