Last September I needed roller door service and contacted Wellington Garage Doors. The serviceman arrived the next morning, was punctual, professional and thorough. I paid the account as quickly as they fixed my garage door problem. Last week the roller door chain snapped. I called the company and received the same brilliant service immediately. The price was very fair. I would not shop around. You can trust this business to deliver. I received the bill shortly after and paid immediately. They deserve it.
Wellington Garage door company came and fixed my garage door not one of their products The repair was swift and straight forward Bob was an absolute gentleman and worked quickly and with obvious expertise. If and when I do need a new door I will be calling these guys as I'm genuinely impressed with their service and communication. Cheers!
When there was something broken or not working in the house, it’s always stressful because we don’t know who really can fix it; and we might be over-charged for the job. Last Friday night, our automatic garage door was jammed. A very bad timing as it’s hard to find someone to fix anything during weekend. On Monday morning, I called Wellington Garage Door, the company I used for installation before. Brendon answered my call, a great communicator. I guess repairing a garage door is a small job. He however patiently spent more than 10 minutes over the phone, trying to answer all my queries. He was kind enough to squeeze Bob, the technician, in the next morning because of my concerns that the pouring rain would flood my garage. Bob’s performance totally exceeded our expectations. He identified the problem right away. During the repair, he had answered at least 3 calls from his office but he kept doing the work on hand simultaneously. After finishing the repair, while he was servicing the door, he taught us how to look after our garage door. I have never seen a tradesman so hardworking, efficient and multi-tasking as Bob, who is a big asset to his company and customers. This was one of those times we were happy to pay for the bill – a reasonable cost for such superb customer services from start to finish.

After a few months living in our newly built townhouse, our garage door malfunctioned with normal regular use. It was due to the fact that the trolley track was not held securely, it was bolted onto gib instead of a solid surface. Eventually it was torn apart and the garage door wouldn't operate automatically. I talked to Brendon to arrange for repair immediately which he was able to slot a date and time within a few business days. The service repair crew arrived on time as promised and found the issue and fixed the problem by welding the end of trolley track onto an existing metal bracket to ensure it holds securely. This immediately fixed everything and garage door operated automatic mechanism as it should. The repair didn't take very long and thankful for the no call-out fee.
Needed a new motor , rang WGD , they were able to send service man the next day , he rang before arriving and arrived on time , nice man , quick and tidy work , would recommend. We originally contacted them because our friends had a double garage door installed and liked the service and found the price good.
Fantastic service. The team were extremely helpful and understanding and went over and above to help fix our door and rescue our car. Thoroughly recommend.
I would not recommend them. They put our original garage door in. The garage door opener broke one month after the warranty ran out. A member of their staff said it was clearly a manufacturing issue as one of the solid metal cogs had broken. They refused to replace it asking if we had "over used it" which we had not. We also needed the door replaced as a neighbours kid had damaged it, the communication was so poor we gave up and used another company.
Replaced garage door opener with Merlin opener. It comes with a 3 year warranty and if serviced within that period it will be extended to 5 years. 2 years later there was a fault. Called them - they came and checked and serviced it and they charged me. They claimed that for the warranty to be valid, it must be serviced every year. The Merlin manufacturer said that they were WRONG in charging the customer - Mark was unprofessional and very rude - Had used them for 20 years but will never go back to them - a rip-off!
