Gao is now officially my favorite place in Auckland. nnTheir bottomless brunch/drinks are superb! From the starters, everything in between up to the desserts. We enjoyed the variety and the choices. I highly recommend to get the cocktails with the brunch.nnThe staff are all so lovely and attentive. The ambience is relaxed and the is interior pretty cool. It can be pretty noisy but i would expect that given the place is packed.nnSuch a lovely experience, the food was divine and the friendly staff was the cherry on top. We are definitely coming back for more. :
Amazing restaurant with a great atmosphere but most importantly, amazing food. I appreciated this place so much! Probably the best Asian fusion I’ve had in Auckland. Had a staff leaving dinner here and to feed and drink for 7 people our bill was under $380! Pretty good! Only feedback I have is that the tables are way too small and awkward. Staff are lovely but constantly having to come clear plates and is a little awkward. Hard to eat around. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality

Their Asian fusion cuisine is exceptional.nnHere's a peek at the mouthwatering dishes we ordered.nnKinilaw Tuna: Fresh tuna ceviche with a tropical twist, featuring coconut, tomato salsa, and spring onion oil. This dish offered a refreshing and vibrant start to our meal, light, zesty, and full of flavour.nnCrispy Eggplant: Perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside, with a soft, creamy interior. The seasoning was spot on, making every bite a crispy delight.nnDuck Pancake: Succulent slices of duck wrapped in soft pancakes, complemented by a tangy hoisin sauce. Each bite was a perfect balance of flavours and textures nn Massaman Curry: Rich, aromatic, and deeply flavourful, this curry was a standout. The tender pieces of meat melted in the mouth, and the creamy sauce was perfect for mopping up with the freshly-made, flaky roti nn Crispy Pork Rib: Fall-off-the-bone tender ribs with a sweet, sticky glaze that left us licking our fingers. Food was really good.nBest customer service.nKudos to the staff and chefs. They are all friendly.nThank you. Will deffinitely comeback and bring my family soon.
Went for the bottomless brunch and that was A LOT of food. It just kept on coming. I liked the fried wanton wrapper with edamame salsa and the mochi ice cream at the end. Everything was good but just make sure to pace yourself.
