The Gallery & Cafe is set in beautiful subtropical gardens with magnificent bush and sea views over Helena Bay on Northland’s east coast.

Story

The Gallery, which is owned and operated by Peter Brown, has a wide-ranging collection of art by established and emerging New Zealand artists, many of which are Northland based – this includes contemporary Maori and Pacific artists. There is an outstanding selection of paintings, wood art, handmade furniture, sculpture, jewellery, glass and ceramics. Browse a selection from the gallery online or come and view the gallery’s extensive collection, set in a beautiful and relaxing subtropical garden, with magnificent bush and sea views over Helena Bay.
Peter has built the gallery and gardens to best show off the artworks and create an environment for visitors to enjoy. The Gallery is on the scenic route to historic Russell in the Bay of Islands, Northland. You will find a warm welcome at the gallery where you are welcome to wander and relax in the beautiful gardens during your visit.
