An inviting and relaxing restaurant with a great Asian Fusion menu to cater to one’s palate. This is a hidden gem in Port Chalmer’s one can drive to from the city as the food served is worth the travel.nnIt also has a great Filipino menu one can explore as the dishes are delicious and authentic. Cooked to perfection, we’ve pre-ordered the Boodle Fight Platter which is great for 6-8people. It was a large mixed platter with several protein options such as Pork, Tuna, Chicken and Seafood to choose from that encompasses delicious, wholesome Filipino cuisine. It has vegetables, rice and even noodles in the platter so one can have a taste of everything depending on what one has preference to.nnStaff were very friendly and attentive when we’ve dined in. We booked a private room as we’re a group of 6. There is ample seating for small or large groups with added option for private room if need be.nnAmbiance of the restaurant is inviting, cozy and welcoming. A beautiful gem of a restaurant that needs to be known more for its varied Asian dishes. Pricing is great for the dishes served are yummy.nnHighly recommend the Boodle Fight Platter as it’s a great introduction to exploring Filipino cuisine.nnWill come back again in the future
We ordered the Boodle Fight platter. Absolutely AMAZING. Make sure you come hungry! So much variety and great for groups of friends and family. Staff were wonderful and very receptive. There are two platters in the photo. On one platter we requested the pork to be left out.
Super nice and delicious food! We flew down from wellington but originally from the Philippines. I really recommend this restaurant because they low-key advertising how to minimize food wastes. Kudos to the manager and the whole team.
Tried their Spicy Karaage chicken with Japanese curry, Filipino style bbq, spicy karaage chicken in miso ramen and their sizzling chicken plate. Everything came out beautifully presented and tasted amazing.
Tried the pre-order communal dish called Boodle Fight, a gigantic platter of mixed meat plus seafood with some veges noodles and rice. Good for 5-7 ppl. Excellent, stuffed and delish.
