We had an absolutely lovely experience at the Furnace. We called up last minute for a table of 6 and they put us at the fire pit on the terrace which was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious highly recommend the brownie and Sunday roast, however the service has to be the best part for me! It was my partners 21st birthday and the staff especially Becky the manager and Sophie our lovely waitress for the night were nothing short of accommodating and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for us! Really really enjoyed it and will definitely be back soon!! Thank you for a lovely night!
Absolutely great bar and restaurant this. Super friendly staff, great food, good beer. It's got a good position in town tho there's not much else going on there at the moment. Parking is easy if you need it at the NCP 1min walk away. Great outdoor seating in the summer too. They've done some minor menu changes after a few months which helps the menu stay fresh.
Loved our first visit! Waitress really friendly! Food beautiful! Lovely terrace area for a drink. We are looking forward to going back again this weekend. Only tiny bit of feedback for improvement. On the drinks menu there are no draft lagers listed so i assumed there were only bottles. I asked the waitress and she said there were 4 draft lagers available. Be better to have them listed.
Very good looking restaurant. It's a nice place but the food is a bit different and querky. It has some vegan and vegetarian options, but the menu is a bit small so it could be made bigger. The cocktails are also a bit different. It was nice but just feel like there could be more options and also maybe more staff around. The brunch however is stunning I love that you get to pick 5 different things it's beautiful
Really nice place in a handy location. Right next to Roxy's and opposite boom battle bar and the light cinema. The sun terrace is a great spot to enjoy a beer/cocktail and the cheese fondue is fantastic. One of the best places to eat in the city centre
Great place. It is pretty big so needs a fairly decent crowd to fill it & give it a bit of atmosphere, although the staff did a pretty good job with that. Great interior. Too cold to sit on the terrace but that would be great on a warmer evening although they do have heaters!
Food was lovely, reasonably priced and very worth the money. Had the crispy chicken burger which came with the gravy with buffalo ranch dip, keep raving about the dip. Service was very good and server was friendly and helpful.
Such tasty food went nicely with a couple.of cocktails on Good Friday. My friend and I enjoyed a watermelon and halloumi kebab and a chicken and chorizo kebab, we shared both. Vibrant colours ans flavours. Always enjoy the food here.
Atmospheric restaurant with a lovely patio, the menu offered some interesting choices. The host, person who turned on the outside heater, and who actually brought out the food were lovely. Ordering was a bit awkward though since we were sat outside. Would love to use the qr as seen on the table.Food: 4/5
Nice atmosphere and good food. Has a lovely outdoor seating area. Staff are able to let you know about all menu items as they have taste tests, so are knowledgeable as well as being super friendly!
