An important gateway to Waiheke island with direct ferry services to downtown Auckland. Waiheke is New Zealand's third most populated island. The ferry link is important for commuters and tourists. Matiatia is a very sheltered harbour providing a great access way to the island. It is in easy walking distance from Oneroa.
The starting point for a great adventure in Waiheke.nThere are beautiful views from the pier, cafés, plenty of information and guidebooks available, and there are bathrooms.nBuses park close by, or there are options for walking to Oneroa; 2.5 hours by the coast, or 20 minutes by the road.
Fuller 360 is a great service. Used the hop on tour in Waiheke. Works well.
Quick and easy experience at this location. The views outside the office were stunning, and everything was well organised. The ferry could do with a window clean for better views for the passengers.
Devonport and Waiheke island were awesome !! Fast trip in boat!! Beautiful sights to seee
