Don’t usually review run of the mill service transactions but was so impressed with the service at Fuel To Fly that I just had to do it. Both the young guy at the counter that served us, and the chef that delivered our meals were professional, courteous and friendly. More than that, they cared, and took obvious pride in their work. Such refreshing interactions from staff in what I have noted is an increasingly jaded industry. A credit to the industry and the airport. The meals were tasty, and the coffee hot and flavourful. Great start to the day!
Fantastic coffees including soy flat white from the Barista sporting dreadlocks, great service, really friendly and on the way back out they even let us try the wine before buying. Lovely smiley staff. Remember, this is an airport so nothings ever going to be perfect but these people were great. Thanks.Food: 4/5
Appalling service!!!! Can see why the other food outlet was way busier. Three staff leaning, chatting, completely ignored me at the point of sale counter. Walked around to the other side to place an order and was rudely pointed to go back to where I was. My Turkish pide was delivered on a plate unfortunately I forgot to ask for takeaway option, but also wasn’t given an option when placing the order As I was about to board a flight, I returned back to the counter to ask if I could possibly have it cut & wrapped in paper to go, apologising for the inconvenience. My request was met with a stern look of disapproval & delivered without a smile or a word uttered as I thanked her. The food was actually lovely, what a shame the service was of such a low standard. I felt like I was a complete hinderance & inconvenience. It takes very little effort to be kind, a smile can really make someone’s day. I stayed In Dunedin for 10 days and had fabulous service everywhere, hopefully these ladies were just having a bad day and will provide a friendlier more welcoming service for future customers. It takes less energy to smile than frown!
Had one of the best Chocolate shakes ever, prepared by Abbie. The sweetness, the texture, the presentation, the amount of chocolate syrup and crushed ice, everything was perfect. Can't wait to try another one next time I am at the DUD Airport. Keep up the good work Abbey, thanks for making my day with that great customer service and amazing barista work

Ordered iced and hot drinks - both were terrible. They have no idea how to properly steam milk for a cappuccino which was more like a bad flat white. The iced mocha was disgusting it tasted like burnt petrol and I threw it out before I could even finish it. The more mature lady was quite rude but the younger guy was alright. 100% recommend eating before coming to the airport and supporting this business.
Terrible service, we waited for our food for 30 min and the waitress only brought it out when we about to departure, Ruined afternoon and we left hungry.very slow service but fast to take your money.Food: 1/5
Had an eggs benedict here served on a completely tasteless thick kind of potato croquette. The very thin bacon and hollandaise sauce were also tasteless. Service was fine as was the coffee, hence the two stars
Granola with yoghurt and seasonal fruit: delicious. One small issue -seasonal fruit is not 4 small apricot halves from a can! Coffee good and service very friendly.
