I decided to try a new restaurant last night but can home somewhat disappointed. I believe the NEW OWNERS should work a little more with the quality and taste of the food. Most came out tasteless. Our Dry Hor Fun had nothing but broken rice noodle bits. The Wonton soup didn't have much flavor and was pretty blend. This restaurant was was really good a year back...
1/ Usually do takeout, but today, decided to do lunch, all very pleasant, away from the hustle and bustle of Westcity, but still just a pedestrian crossing away, most enjoyable. 2/ Drop in for dinner, didn’t disappoint as per photo.
There's a lot of under rated Chinese places around and this is one of them. Anyone saying this place is grubby and needs their plates replaced obviously haven't been to Asia. The place is tidy and neat and has a good food safety rating, that is all you need. Other than that you would come here for the food. Chef here is consistent, and the place is run by a family. Expect hearing Cantonese because hey, you're at a Chinese restaurant. And do expect good range of tofu, duck, seafood dishes. Lunch is very cheap! So suggest going here than your local takeaways. Very generous with their veges and the choice of fish is Hāpuka! The staff are friendly and always can recommend a good eat.
Best Chinese restaurant in Henderson Nothing fancy about it but it's clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and great to chat with I can say their food is genuine Chinese cuisine. It's delicious and full of flavor I have eaten here several times Their prices are very reasonable Never going anywhere else
Not the fanciest place but the food is so AMAZINGLY GOOD! Lunch is so cheap as and the serving is heaps for one person and in fact two people can share one plate Lol! I got a rost duck on rice for $11 and upgrade my white rice to fried rice for $3 and I'm a happy customer.
I went here with a group of my church friends for my birthday and really enjoyed it - the food and also the experience. Prior to arriving, a few friends got to the place and told the staff it was my birthday and they hung a birthday sign on the wall near our table which was very sweet. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely.
Spend 75 bucks ordered sweet sour pork its taste not sweet and sour so much fats not much meat even the rost pork the slice is so thin and fats. Fried rice was good. Dont wanna come back and buying again.
This place has great lunch deals. I got soy chicken on rice for $8 for lunch. Pretty good. The food is yum. It's a small place, not flash but cozy. It's a chinese place so it's got small table space, you're served tea when you dine in. Paper menus on the wall and seems popular with the locals. I recommend this place if you're looking for cheap lunch, i don't know what dinner is like but if lunch is anything to go on, the food will be tasty. I'll visit again.
A little bit like Chinese street food style. I f you very familiar Chinese style cuisine, you will like this tiny pearl. They are working hard, seriously. Food Delicious, bigger portion, low prices…
I loved it I had The spring rolls and dumplings definitely recommend this restaurant for hungry people
