It's a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the incredible views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. The beach itself is lovely, great for a picnic or just chilling out. There's a nice walking/cycling track that goes along the lakefront, and it’s a very easy and scenic path.nHighly recommend for a chilled afternoon or evening especially before a flight out
Lovely beach not overcrowded with tourist like the queenstown bay beach. Great place for swimming and watching sunrise/sunset. You can also see planes flying out of queenstown here.
Frankton beach is a nice relaxing place to unwind, it was a little busy when I visited with people sunbaving and relaxing, something aren't quite relaxing is the planes that goes over every half an hour because it's on the south side of the airport take off. Good place to swim except the water doesn't look blue some parts of a have a brown colour to it, not sure if it was safe but people were swimming in it
Super relaxing and chill place. There’s a lot of spots that just the crowded areas, hunt around a bit
