My favourite pub on Earth !!! Great views and incredible service. The photo I've attached is the amazing view from inside the pub. In an industry where staff turnover is often high, the highly experienced staff here have been working here for four years or longer. Which is fantastic, and uncommon at other venues. I have been able to get expert guidance on many topics, including: drink and food recommendations; travel recommendations; Maori history and culture; etc.
It was our first time to try Frankton Arm Tavern. The sharing platter was a huge serving and yummy. We added some orders later. Place was cozy enough to keep us warm. Only suggestion is that the host could’ve helped us 1. look for a bigger table - we have requested as we got so many order the lady told us she will find some table for us but didn’t come back to us other table was ‘reserved’, but no one came as they have removed the ‘reserved’ placard eventhough it was 5-6 people 2. we also requested a jar of water to which she said she will bring it to us, 10 minutes later still she did not come, so my friend had to grab it for us.
Great service, good, view, and atmosphere. We really enjoy this hangout. Definitely recommend it.
Leah was our waitress. She was very efficient and kind in helping us order both food and drinks. She has a very friendly attitude and personality. She made our dinner experience lots of fun and so enjoyable. Thanks so much.
The place is very nice and has unique view. The staff is very nice, kind and funny. However this kínd of food it not my cup of tee, I like the taste. I ordered hamburger and chips in gravy and it was nice.
I went to the Frankton Arms Tavern yesterday with from some mates and the customer service was amazing. We were served by Abbey and Sabba who are great at their job. Serving drinks with smiles on their faces. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good service and good pints.
I don't like pubs so can't comment on any of the pub-typical experience. We ate dinner there - Frankton Wrap is so delicious, I recommend it. Alcohol was expensive but about what you expect these days. Food did take a while to come out we were there about 1hr before we saw the first plate come out but it was a busy night.Food: 5/5
Steak was good ,service very poor But the atmosphere has changed. It was a good family pub once ,good meals ,safe crowd . However last night it was more like a TAB with drunks. TVs everywhere with horse racing Not a nice place to go . Hopefully it will change. I really liked this pub once ,I now see why others have gone elsewhere
Well, the food wasn’t too bad, but… I don’t think it was worth the hour and a half of waiting. Especially when a group comes in more than half an hour after you arrive but yet get food 10 minutes earlier than you. All because you ordered fried chicken and not the burger…
Amazing place to grab a beer with your mates to watch the Sunset. staff is friendly and approachable, Sabba in particular had a nice conversation with us and looked after us during our time there. Totes coming back!
