Dr. Nikki Frost is absolutely fantastic! She’s incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to make both us and our pup feel comfortable. It’s so reassuring knowing our animals are in such capable hands.nnFranklin Vets as a whole have been amazing with our animals over the years. Even in the most difficult moments, their team goes above and beyond to provide the best care and support. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication truly make a difference.
We have to come to the vet every month for an arthritis injection for my very cranky senior dog. Although she has a pretty bad record for being hostile the vet team always greet us warmly. The staff are amazing
I had an wonderful experience with Franklin Vets. i was referred to them by a friend as i recently had a bad experience at another vet. Franklin Vets Pukekohe were just amazing. i was warmly greeted by the reception and attended to very swiftly. The operation was explained in detail by Dr Paul which put me at ease and gave me confidence to trust them. i was really impressed with the attitude of all the staff that i had contact with. We are first time pet owners and i must say that this was a wow experience that tells me that the staff of Franklin vets love what they do and truly understand what great service is. i highly recommend them and will be taking my dog to them going forward. well done to Paul and his team. Though we never plan to return to this clinic, thank you for making that decision for usThe clinic has sent us a letter saying they won't provide vet services to us. Our experience was frustrating and disappointing, largely due to the way Nikki Hotter handled the situation.nWe were quoted $430 plus travel for a late-night visit at 1:30 AM, but the final bill was inflated to over $800, including $574 for the just the calving and additional, unexplained charges like $72 for yarding fees—despite the cow being treated in our own yards. When we politely emailed to seek clarification, instead of a professional response, Nikki called aggressively, accusing us of simply asking for discounts.nFor the record, the vet’s lack of experience with cows was not the issue—we’re grateful they came out at 1:30 AM and provided service. However, the way Nikki handled our concerns was appalling. She accused us of ‘cheating the system’ for requesting the invoice in my business’s name instead of my personal name. She refused to edit the invoice and was unreasonable throughout the conversation.nThis isn’t just about the charges; it’s about basic customer service. During this tough economy, we expect nothing less than politeness and professionalism when interacting with a service provider. Nikki’s behavior—shouting, being dismissive, and making unfounded accusations—was completely unacceptable.nIf you want a vet clinic that treats all customers equally, regardless of their race, background, or rural location, and takes the time to respectfully explain charges, I suggest looking elsewhere. The way you speak to people matters, Nikki. Shouting doesn’t make you right.
