Great service and had everything I wanted
Obeying my rule "never walk past a hardware in a small town", I was very pleasantly surprised with the quantity and quality of goods on the shelves. The Warehouse will never be able muscle in. Kitchen ware was equally impressive. Friendly competent service.

Awesome staff, who care about your needs and go the extra mile to make sure your shopping is a hassle free and enjoyable experience. Just finished a big home renovation job. I am new to Foxton and I wanted to buy local, if the price, service and quality of products were competitive with the big town stores. In every case our Foxton store matched or offered better prices and also had reliable , free delivery. They made it all so easy for us and staff are lovely to deal with. They valued our business and we valued their honesty and service. Thanks team!
After many years and many visits to this store I feel I'm qualified to comment on my experience's. The staff stand about in their little clique by the counter and talk amongst themselves, and are less than engaging, when asked where a particular item is they will point in a general direction and will forget to ask for AA rewards when serving, one particular male staff member thinks he is funny with his comments, when in fact he comes out as being an idiot, is less than helpful and not at least a bit interested in what the customer has to say, as far as the stores presentation and stock items, its adequate, its the staff that let it down, now whether this is a management thing or not I don't know but one this is for sure the staff need re-training or replacing with more friendly and helpful engaging personal who know their products.
