We turned up today to play. We hadn't booked and there was a tournament on. We got slotted in to tee off almost immediately. Friendly staff and the course was in great nick. It is a gem of a course.
Not a bad little club.... while there pop over and have a go at the Buckley Course in Shannon..make a weekend of it
Friendly and accessible course. Plus it's cheap, $10 for nine holes. A great course for learning on.

Sorry to see this course going back a bit. May well be the trend in small town courses but I used to like Foxton. Flat and dry all year round.
Great golf course and very friendly staff
Great course, picturesque, nice flat fairways, friendly staff and tidy facilities. Overall a great spot for amateurs to gain experience.
Great country course. Really liked the layout and the challenging set up. Must have been amazing in its hey day. The $20 green fee makes it 5 star really. Greens a little slow. Played both black and white tees over 2 days. Blacks very challenging in windy conditions!
Love it. Grass a bit bare in fairways through summer but all round hof course is mint
