We arrived at short notice and the friendly young lady at reception made us feel more than welcome and arranged for us to park the motor home just in the other side of the office so we were right on top of the facilities. It was only a short walk to the estuary and a little further to the beach. Nice quiet spot to relax in.Rooms: 5/5
What a great place. The staff were lovely and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we had on our trip. The amenities were clean and the showers were great. Nearby activities: A great place to watch the sun go down over the ocean.
Lovely clean facilities, Cabin was warm and comfortable but a mirror would have been handy and also a towel hire option. Very friendly staff and great for kids and dogs!Rooms: 4/5
We stayed here with our caravan, family joined us with their van and friends from Australia hired a cabin. Reception staff were very accommodating when trying to get our bookings sorted at the initial stages and with our requests and changes. The shower rooms are awesome, spacious, clean & excellent water flow. All other facilities provided were well maintained, very clean and well equipped. Even a herb garden provided in the BBQ area. Our sites were fully grassed and spacious which was awesome as we have rather a large caravan. BBQ table provided on the site. Great access to beach & river, Foxton township has everything you need and some very good little cafes near the beach within walking distance from the camp. Palmerston North city & Airport close by ..hence why we chose to stay at Foxton. Very pleasant 4 days spent here - highly recommend this holiday park.
What a magic spot to stay, friendly team, very clean and superb maintained grounds. We have been on the road 3 mths and staying at many camp grounds over both islands. This one tops it. Even the camp cat is super friendly....you get the whole package. Gordon, keep that grassed short my man, we loved not getting wet feet to visit the toilets. Safety: Fog access only. Walkability: Loop walk on doorstep
Got a free bump to amazing family unit. Great service, close to shops, all needed mod cons and more. Wifi only downer..very patchy. But I came here to chill right so alguds. Been here several times. Highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5

Stayed in Cabin 4. Was very clean & the bed was comfortable. No towels were provided, would have been nice to at least have a hand towel and soap.Rooms: 3/5
Cruised in with my caravan...work in progress.. certainly is and what a fantastic job they are doing with it too. Lovely staff and so friendly.. Very reasonably priced .. Nice clean amenities.. Liked it so much I stayed an extra 4 days.. Nice ocean beach ..
Beautiful venue positioned in the middle of the beach the river and estuary. Lovely welcoming staff, we stayed in a cabin with a small kitchenette sleeps 4 one queen one set of bunks, well priced and shared amenities are set up awesome with laundry, toilets, great shower pressure and shared kitchen, lovely outdoor bbq seating, outdoor chess, petanque and jumping pillow. So clean and well maintained . Looking around the park there are some great accomodation options and i look forward to spending more time here whenever I'm down in this end of the country.
