It was good experience.nIt was windy day not crowded.
Please don't walk on the dunes .nThere's signs everywhere saying not to walk on the dunes use the walkways provided.nLovely beach, reminded me of oreti beach in Invercargill.nBut too cold for me to swim but some people braved the cold water.nThere was gentle waves but are apparently rips so you need to watch where you swim.nWill be back with the grandkids.
Long stretch of beach, popular on nice days. Pleanty of car parking available, and patrolled by lifesavers between the flags. Food/Icecream/Coffee trucks are sometimes parked nearby.
Lovely beach. Space for driving on the beach, nice waves. Request for public to use pathways to the beach to save the dunes. Wide sand beach, big parking area. Not crowded, even over long weekend break.
Just beautiful, especially in the winter when it’s empty. If the beach isn’t your thing, there’s lots of paths and walks through the woods, or playgrounds and bump track.
