To be fair, I wanted an oil finish and Paul business owner wasn't keen as they need more upkeep though I have had oiled floors before so am aware of their needs. Ultimately I am happy with the finish of the product that I chose. The job did turn into an epic as the oil was applied when it was cold which the spec sheet cautions against so took ages to cure. He blamed the product, manufacturer blamed the install but the manufacturer did bend over backwards to be helpful. '4-Star' made several trips back to try and finish so I am sure it wasn't lucrative work for them, but in the end the second application was clearly rushed and I've had to buff off and redo bits to remove debris. Guys on the ground were pleasant, though I could have done without removing the rubbish they left behind. Paul the owner got a bit aggressive and curt in his comms, saying under his breath he "wished he hadn't taken the job". Feeling is probably mutual there: I wouldn't use again. Their business model seems to be do it fast, do it cheap rather than do it right – fine if the job is simple and you're not that fussed about the details. I chose them as they were available when I needed and the initial price quoted was competitive. I didn't get the best vibe from them in the first place a bit arrogant and mansplainy. Next time I'd trust my gut and go with someone with a better attitude.
