Story

Tommy Glubb originally from Canterbury and Casey Hilton-Pryor from Tauranga met while travelling overseas. They ventured back to NZ where both worked in Auckland, Tommy in the Army and Casey in Marketing, but soon were looking for that next venture. When the opportunity arose in 2013 for them to purchase the Four Square in Spring Creek, Marlborough, they jumped at it.

Spring Creek Four Square Supermarket has been supplying quality groceries for over 50 years and has been the local one stop shop for the local community, the wider Marlborough area and for many passing through State Highway 1 as they head to and from Picton.

Tommy and Casey have since revamped the store and are loving getting to know their customers. With the addition of barista made coffee, Lotto and homemade baking, including the best sausage rolls in town, it really is a great one stop shop. One of the things that they also pride themselves in is to continue to provide ongoing community support around Marlborough.

It’s been a busy few years with the arrival of their daughter Poppy, Nellie the black lab, getting married and settling into the fantastic Marlborough lifestyle, but they wouldn’t have it any other way.
