So very helpful! We were left in a world of trouble by the other supermarket and wish we had just ordered from these guys to start with! Thanks for saving our holiday in The Sounds. 10/10 recommend if you care about your groceries being delivered chilled and fresh!! Thanks again!
Very rude!!! Machine recorded a wrong price and I needed a refund of the difference. Manager never apologised or smiled— the very least you’d expect. She proceeded to wrongly refund the entire item, and was terse with me as if it was my fault. I actually asked her if she was the owner because who in their right mind would employ someone so surly. Then she gave me the wrong change. I asked if the till told her that amount— she barked ‘yes!’. I said it was wrong. I asked if she was tired — had she worked since 7am? She ignored me. She passed me over to Zac who was surly too!! Looked at me as if I had done something wrong— lead by her bad behaviour probably. I smiled and said I expected a smile from someone. He ignored that and continued surly with a glare. I went to leave and then thought I’m not taking that awful behaviour and went back and said— I did nothing wrong and there weren’t so Much as a sorry. She said sorry as she walked away. I said I wouldn’t employ her. I’m a retired businesswoman A local man outside the door said words to the effect of: she’s horrible isn’t she? But using much stronger swearing language. 9:48:59; 1/10//22 I know staffing is difficult but surely there are better people available than this lady .
Friendly, hygienic, fresh produce .
Nice place to walk around and patronize the many shops, restaurants and boutiques
Small grocery store with everything you could need.
Small but has a lot of items
They have small shopping carts for kids to push around and a box at the front with free fruit for kids! Also nice selection of product is a small space, so quick visit, found everything I needed to stock up for the family before going to a secluded area.
This medium sized supermarket is improving all the time with more choice of food, mostly I think to keep up with the food and dietary demands and requirements of the zillions tourists during the summer season who stay or pass through on their way to and from the ferries to the North island. It's recently been updated again with new freezers and they now offer the shopping online facility for delivery or in-store pick-up. I find there's a great choice of foods for people with particular dietary needs like myself who are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free and I'm always discovering new items. The staff are friendly and they seem to cope well when the influx of tourists descend on the store. Don't forget to bring your own re-usable bags as New Zealand banned plastic bags in supermarkets from 1 July 2019! Yay!
Top ladies, they are awesome always happy always helpful and always nice. Top marks 10 out of 10, I will give them 11 out 10. Mervyn Osborne from Picton New Zealand .
