We were sucked into here from the vibe on the patio from off the street. Solid beers, decent menu and all around great vibes. A perfect place to waste away the last few hours of sun in the day booping along to the live DJ drinking beers
Good range of decent but not fabulous beers. Gorillas burgers next door a bit dry but very convenient.
Great craft beers here . Must visit if you are a beer person. Moreover the staff is quite friendly and super cute . It's my usual place where I come mostly everyday! And yes, don't miss the gorilla burgers and fries.

Huge range of great beers on tap from their own brewery. I came on my own on a Monday night and it was fairly busy. You can order burgers from Gorilla Burgers next door and they bring them over to your table. Big tables for groups and nice upstairs area with outdoor space.

Just around the corner from my daughter’s ex-workplace big shout out to Mandatory Menswear!, is one of their favourite watering holes. How fortuitous to be about 50m away from each other! For a working craft brewery, it’s very tidy retail space, even though the brewing tanks are in plain view. The rest of the decor is pretty swish and funky, with great bursts of colour to brighten up the semi-industrial feel. The staff are really friendly, good with advice and tasters of different brews when asked. As a cider lover, I thoroughly enjoyed their Brightsider, and then decide it’d be rude not to have a tasting paddle of their beers. I let the bartender know that I’m not a stout fan, and then let her choose 6 from the rest on offer. The paddle comes with a handy drawing of the beers as arranged, plus their alcohol content, so you know what you’re tasting - good for future orders. Didn’t have time to look at the food menu this trip, so hopefully we can on another visit.
Had a great experience at Fortune Favours on Saturday 27th May, the bar tender Gabrielle was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and gave us fantastic service. The beers we tried were really good, and the Gorilla fries were very tasty! Will be back next time we are in Welly. Cheers!
Great food and drinks, only complaint would be very loud inside during late evenings. It's a bar with the volume of a club. Otherwise top tier.Food: 5/5
