Was a disappointing experience for me. Went with a few friends. Place looked professional and well maintained, carts were nice and fast. But!! The staff were rude. They constantly slowed down the karts even when we followed all the rules. Any time we were trying to over take each other they slowed it. And just one time the kart went and hit the side of the track so this guy came on the track yelling n throwing his hands up. People do accidentally hit the sides of the track while karting, it’s very common! Never going here again. Don’t want to trouble them by driving their precious karts. I strongly recommend Hampton downs and Extreme karting.
My friend and I had a flight out of Auckland which got delayed by 6+ hours. We checked out these guys to do a little karting while waiting for our flight. The staff was completely awesome and showed genuine interest in helping us improve our lap times. I definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area! Thanks guys!
The service from when you walk in the door until the end of the racing was great. Very helpful with everything. The karts are great and so much nicer to race with out fumes. We had a podium at the end and got lap times sent through, not that I wanted to see being the slowest :-. We will be back.
Extremely poor customer service! Made a booking for 1.30 pm, we got there on time and was asked to wait coz another group was late. The old bald man was extremely rude and definitely needs a lesson on how to talk to customers. Never going back ever again!
Excellent karts and always good service. I bring my company every year for an annual team race. I find the electric karts are able to be kept fairly even in terms of speed, so everyone feels like its a good race. Best karting experience in Auckland
If I can give a zero star I will! Do not recommend to go here if you are an adult. This place is for kids only. Staff member were so rudeespecially the bald guy, the ladies there was alright. They slow people down for no reasonthey said I was crushing into people and the side of the track when actually I didn’t! I have one of my friend was filming me when I was on the kart and that clearly shows I didn’t crush into anything!. At the end, I meant to go 20 laps but they force me off on the 5th laps by cutting off my kart speed in the middle of the racing track, causing all people behind me crushing into me and yelling at me wondering why would I stop in the middle of the track, that was so embarrassing and it wasn’t my fault. I went home and check my body and realized there is a massive bruise on my body all because of they stopped my kart in the middle of the track and people smashed into me with full speed. If you are planing for a real go kart game please do not come here.
Awesome track and staff! As long as you don't drive like an ass you won't get slowed down! Would highly recommend if you want to have some fun and safe racing!
Poorly run mediocre e karts. No overtaking spot on course, and staff slow your karts down for the smallest contact. Got charged $36 for damage that was a racing accident and was obviously so when watched back on camera. We spent over $700 with them yet they wouldn't let us leave without paying $36 for a crack in the plastic. They didn't do a podium or send through lap times to my email. I do not recommend racing here.
Great race, over so soon : Helpful, friendly staff. Good quality and quick cars. Great for a group to duel it out. They provide a printout of race times and skill level - let the bragging commence.
Waste of money. Seems to be the same with all the other reviews where the complaints are about the owner and not the venue itself. Either way paying 35 bucks to spend 5 minutes arguing with a man going through some sort of midlife crisis power struggle is never a fun way to spend an afternoon.
