Lots of options that can be made vegan! The steamed dumplings were delicious! The decor is nice and service was prompt and nice. The tofu was quite rubbery and over-fried. I had to use a steak knife to cut the tofu and as I cut it oil oozed out. Maybe in smaller chunks the tofu would be easier to eat. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend any dishes with that kind of tofu if its cooked that way. The sweet and sour tofu was too sweet.
The environment is great! And the service is good! Just after a couple of minutes, the food arrived, which was so surprised to us, it’s quite quick!nThe Hakka stir fry and Lu Wei is just so so. The Crispy pork belly is so yummy!
Wonderful restaurant with a variety of different Asian styles. Delicious food although not spicy at all despite having ‘spicy’ in the name of the dish, however I understand they must cater to a western audience. I loved it nonetheless. The desserts are next level, most likely top 5 in New Zealand easily. Service was exceptional, prices are fair. Highly recommend this restaurant!
The Taiwanese beef noodles is so authentic. The beef is so tender. The crispy red pork belly, honey pork and the Formosa Hakka stir fry taste good. The service is fast and the place has a cozy atmosphere. We will definitely come back to this place whenever we are in Ashburton
Mocktail and drinks are good, food options and desserts are excellent. Service is amazing. Will def come back.
