Perfect stop after a long day on the bike. The host were super helpful. Allowed us to wash our clothes later at night. Very comfortable nights sleep.
Good room and excellent price. If you're doing the Tour Aotearoa route and need an overnight or a rest day after the Timber Trail this is a good spot.
A group of us went fishing over the weekend and had a very comfortable stay at the lodge. The house was clean and tidy. Great lounge with a fire to keep warm and nice outside deck area with a big BBQ. Highly recommended.
My partner and I had a lovely stay at Forest Lodge during our trip to mountain bike the 42 Traverse over the holiday weekend. Andrew and his wife were more than accommodating, making us feel right at home in their spacious and newly renovated self-contained unit.nThey shuttled us to the start of the trail and gave us some local knowledge of the area. Unfortunately I had a bike accident on the trail, but Andrew was kind enough to pick me up and make sure I was well looked after. All in all, a wonderful stay and easily the best accommodation and service in Owhango!
Beautiful place to stay.nThey have good quality heaters.nClean rooms, mattress, sheets.nTidy kitchen with all the utensils to make your early breakfast before you head towards any journey.nThey have a big dining table and a living room to spend time.nBut wifi signal doesn't go in the bedroom
