Me and my 2 year old stayed here for a week and both me and my daughter loved the atmosphere would definitely stay again and recommend to otheres oh and lovely staff thanks for an awesome stay. I do recommend bringing your own food and save yourself some money, the kitchen was very handy.
Great short stay thanks guys. Staff were very warm and helpful. Cabin was basic but cute. Facilities were clean. Didn't have an issue with bugs or overheating as some reviews mentioned. Thanks heaps guys!
Lovely family camp away from town. Thing that bugged me most was the showers are temperature set. And for the one night we stayed, my shower was definitely NOT warm enough. Apart from that it was only an ok rating.
Big tent pitches right on the forest edge. Super well equipped kitchens. Clean facilities and nice hot showers. Mountain bike track leads right put of rhe camp site Nearby activities: Great mountain biking !
Conical Hill loop walk a nightmare to navigate if you go further than up to the lookout and straight back the same way. Be warned if it's a hot or cold day!Location: 4/5
Probably not the host's fault but my experience of stay was horrible. It is a family friendly place indeed but there were too many families with energetic young children staying in and the non-noise-insulated wall was not helpful. Apart from that, great forestry environment.
Good! Rooms are fairly priced and I’m grateful there are basic cabin options in Hamner Springs. It’s a 5 minute drive and possible to walk or bike however the path along the roadside and feels sketchy. Good kitchen, enough for backpackers. Room was too difficult to heat with the panel heater. I’d suggest a fan heater or more powerful unit as it gets pretty chilly overnight. Friendly staff who are happy to help.
Some guy in a Falcon did doughnuts into my tent. tire swing was very awesome.Rooms: 4/5
The place is not bad for the price we paid. The cabin was lovely but it was just disappointing that the kitchen was closed very early and they kept it locked for the whole morning. When we asked the staff they were rude saying that it was specified in the map of the place... we weren't the only guests trying to find a functional kitchen.
Just spent 2 nights with my wife there. Our prebooked room had been given to someone else. The reallocated room for us had not been cleaned at all. Old clothing under bed pens bottle tops and dust everywhere. The mattress protectors on the beds were very dirty. I mean filthy.. And too make matters worse after sitting on the bed for 2 minutes I had 2 fleas running up my arm. I must say the Male attendant at the office was very nice and helpful. Please up your standard of cleaning room and provide clean bed coverings...that was a real eye opener
