It's a supermarket - exactly what you would expect from such. Slightly more expensive than Woolworth/Coles. Good range of specials most weeks.
Anytime I’m on the way home from work, from the City to Semaphore, this Drakes is the perfect stop, plenty of parking and friendly staff
Local, helpful and professional. Loving the local aspect too. Buy South Australia selection
Great little supermarket. Next door to Petstock Next door to Tackle World One stop.
Four out of the last 6 shopping visits have been less than satisfactory due to there never being a checkout open and of being told to go through the express lane with a trolley full. This occurs regardless of the number of customers on-site. Today was no different. In 3 of the last 6 visits, I went through the express lane and noted an item missing when I arrived home, when I had paid for it - each time was a dearer refrigdgerable item. I am not the only one. Today, with 25 not so small items items in the cart was directed by a erson to come through the express lane. Raised concern at the size of the purchases and was told in a derogatory way someone from the back would be called to open a checkout. To demonstrate the issue for customers, decided to go through the express lane and piled the groceries all over the bench minimal room. On completing the transaction, there was quite a queue lined up with baskets. Enough is enough. There are other Foodlands where at least one checkout is open and there are friendly staff. This used to be a great place to shop - not any more. Where have the helpful staff gone?
Not been their since covid 19 outbreak, still good, a few less international items, missing, tried to look for them, that's the way of the world now. Staff very friendly. Easy parking. Disability spots ok.
A great fruit and Veg selection, really diverse! The staff were lovely, but particularly the young lady on the shorter side who served me!
A great range of products and always good quality produce. Staff are helpful, attentive and all seem happy in their jobs.
Great variety friendly staff
Plenty of parking and access for disability parkers. Easy to navigate store and readily opened another checkout for me when requested.
