Rude staff member asking me if I was going to be much longer when they were ready to go on lunch. I was also on the phone to consulting someone as to which cheese to buy, which was rude of me. But I was spending over $80. An extra one minute to get off the phone would have been appreciated for such a large purchase. All other times have been good interactions.
Great bargains to be had! Fulfill all your cheese dreams! $1 Brie & Camembert! Perfect way to up your platter game. It's a small shop, 2 fridges with specials that change weekly, but it's definitely worth the trip!
Not flash, not pretty, but great quality cheese for considerably less than you'd pay in the supermarket. Bought some Kapiti aorangi brie, kikorangi, pakari smoked, kahurangi blue and a block of Mainland gruyere for less than $17.60 What they have varies from day to day but always a good selection.
Whist the cheese shop produces great cheese, the sales staff behind the counter need to be trained up to be more helpful. Right now I find them rude and very unhelpful.
