Coming to the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple feels like stepping out of Auckland and into a different land. Peaceful and spiritual. The architecture is magnificent and there are multiple cute statues distributed around the garden. The vegetarian noodles are superb, I always order them!
Quite and amazing place. I use to visit such place back in india i love monastery but this is really good place if you peace and nature then visit this hidden gem in Auckland.nnJust in love with this place. Cant wait to visit soon
Always a bliss visiting this temple in East Auckland. I would say underrated. Truely a gem and a wonderful attraction in Auckland. Definitely worth a visit.
Nice, spacious & peaceful temple with interesting sculptures + layout in the garden area. Vegetarian restaurant next to the store selling a range of charms, figurines, books etc. Plenty of parking. Strict dress code. Words of wisdom everywhere in the temple
Absolutely stunning. Transported me back to my trips to China all in our backyard of Auckland. Gardens emaculate, welcoming and peaceful.
