This business has a strong feeling of wanting take your money and get their cut. Once you've booked the flights feels like you quickly become an afterthought. Any changes especially urgent with the "24/7" number are a joke, you wait on hold for hours before being disconnected while overseas typically racking up an expensive bill during the process. Not reliable as it is advertised by staff and adverts, the complete opposite sadly. End of it all, we ended up almost $1000 out of pocket due to a cancelled flight and no one being available from flight centre to assist. Also we found the sale rep we worked with was quite slow to respond to emails when you have questions, while they got in touch eventually some emails did get missed entirely sadly. First time booking with flight centre and safe to say would prefer book directly in future as the airlines were unable to help us when it was needed the most since we booked through flight centre.
I have been arranging my flights through Flight Centre for the last18 or so years. Recently had one of my flights back from U.S cancelled without being advised by United Airlines. Rang flight centre from Oregon in a panic and Dalton had arranged new flights and new connections within a few hours, for the next day. He was calm and certainly put me at ease believe me, I needed that!. Impressed with Dalton's service and will certainly use FC Northlands again!
Worst service ever. Northlands flight centre prey on the elderly and then leave them high and dry. My grandma was served by Ashley, who refused to answer the phone or contact her back via email within an adequate timeframe. She went to pick up her tickets and Ashley said she was busy with other customers and was very blunt. She didn’t give my grandma her travel insurance, so she had to go back 20 minutes later. She was then told by another staff member that Ashley wasn’t busy at all and was just out the back. Ashley was very unprofessional and didn’t seem to care that she had forgotten to give important documents. My grandma was left very stressed due to the lack of communication and help. It was also made worse by the fact that this business never answers the phone. I recommend no one go through flight centre for their travels, it isn’t worth the stress.
Have contacted flight centre a few times in regards to a trip to Raro and still to this day never recieved a reply. Also contacted flight centre inregards to changing my daughters 15years old and 11 years old flights to get them home from perth due to a violent altercation over there and no help was given
Have always booked through Flight centre, am continuing impressed with the customer service a special Thankyou to Dalton who organised our most recent trip and made it so easy and stress free with a new baby Thankyou again
Hi, I m absolutely disappointed with the service from northlands Flight centre. I booked ticket for may 29 th. The sales person send my ticket via email on June 29th. Went to check in its 29 th. Been to flight centre . And it was too late . Next sales person gave me ticket 30 th may via Air Newzealand and charge 1300 dollars. Canceled the 29 th Quantas one. She said she will check with the other sales person and will send email to me. Waited a week nothing happened. I checked with Quantas they said I will get refund if applied through flight centre. It’s so disappointing. They put surname wrongly. Very bad service. Till this time no one contacted me.
I had a fantastic experience with the staff at the northlands Christchurch store are extremely friendly
Service is abysmal. Staff are incredibly unprofessional and useless. I would recommend not going through this flight centre unless you like the thought of adding stress to your vacation
Tamara at Flight Centre Northlands is absolutely fantastic. I was having some trouble finding flights back to Ireland from Queenstown that suited my holiday days off work. Tamara was super friendly, helpful and found me exactly what I was looking for in terms of flights home, and stopovers. Highly recommend!
Really great service. Appreciated the calmness and professionalism of Dalton. He made it really easy for us booking our trip back to the UK for Xmas. 10/10 would recommend!
